Heidi Mumford-Yeo is a British actress, writer, and producer. Before training as an actress in London, she studied Law at Durham University, graduating with honours. In 2022, Heidi received her Masters degree from Cambridge University. She is a full member of the Writers Guild of Great Britain, Women in TV & Film & Equity.

In early 2019, Heidi created & wrote her debut television drama series, Tell Me Why, which was optioned in 2021 by Beyond Entertainment and is now in development with Goldspin Films. She is currently working on her second television drama series, Damaged, based on the best-selling book by Chris Wild.

Heidi has worked in the West End and has appeared in several shorts, feature films, and television commercials. One feature film, 'Porichoi'’ required her to learn part of the script in Bengali alongside prolific Indian superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee.

“In both acting and writing, I like challenges and inverting stereotypes. I fight against preconceptions. I like characters who have lived and people who can’t be pigeonholed—outliers, I suppose you could say. Show me a character most people would find unbearable, and I'd like to think I can show something redeeming about them. I don’t look at people as absolutes. I think that’s dangerous and incredibly limiting.”

Heidi lives in London with her husband & two dogs, Indiana Jones and Freddy.
